TGIF

It's been a long, long week and as we type this post, our darling three year old is making it worth while. Grossly he is playing with a crude toy Truck Grandma gave him . . . a battery operated toy that makes 6 different fart noises from light and girly to loud and manly. Believe us when we say we've never been prouder! Perhaps my dreams of Harvard, Yale, Princeton, or Cornell from the last post are dimming a bit.

Doug stayed home today on account of his mouth pain and though I certainly don't wish him pain, the upshoot for me was that I was treated to an almost entirely clean house when I got home!! Which if you could have seen our house a mere 24 hours ago, you would understand that this was no small feat and probably required the simultaneous act of God, correct star alignment, and a bulldozer, or at the very least LOTS of sweat, elbow grease, and time!

We are looking forward to summer and a chance to have some quality family fun time which shall include golf for all 3, swimming, BBQing, and travel for the oldest 2 of us. Doug heads west to Seattle for business in early June and Sarah will be attending several local workshops throughout June and early July before also heading west to Tahoe for training. Caden sadly will go no further than Grandpa and Grandma's houses, the park, and his beloved Miss Becci's for the summer.
