made me laugh

Caden got up this morning to get ready for his first day of Pre-K with Ms. Valerie. He is so excited!

As Caden's getting dressed, he tells me he needs to potty. I say go ahead. He does his business and I hear the unmistakable snap of the elastic band of his underwear against his skin. He comes running, his face concerned and pained, but with no tears, and says and he's showing me his bare hip where it stings and says, "Is it blooding (his word for bleeding)? I shot it pretty hard with my underwear!"

Through my giggles, I reassured me that in fact no blood was lost in the snapping of his underwear waistband against his flesh.

who have been razzing me about falling behind in my blogging. I've been gone for awhile, but now I'm back in the game. I will be working on catching up and staying current with the ongoings of our busy, busy lives.
