How many did you say?!?

There are 777,108 people in the U.S. with the first name Sarah.
Statistically the 58th most popular first name.
More than 99.9 percent of people with the first name Sarah are female. (go figure!)

There are 4,222 people in the U.S. with the last name Livesay.
Statistically the 8088th most popular last name.

There are 11 people in the U.S. named Sarah Livesay.

Wow! I thought I was the one and only! :)

If you're now very curious to see how many other folks here in the U.S. share your wonderful (but probably not unique name), check out this site. I thought it was very cool and interesting.

Now just for fun:

There are fewer than 1,530 people in the U.S. with the first name Caden. And according to the website: There are 1 or fewer people in the U.S. named Caden Livesay. Well, I happen to know for fact there's at least one!

There are 561,415 people in the U.S. with the first name Douglas. Statistically the 94th most popular first name. More than 99.9 percent of people with the first name Douglas are male. (again, it seems a no brainer!) There are 8 people in the U.S. named Douglas Livesay. I find this slightly odd, but when I checked just "Doug Livesay" there was only 1! I'm guessing however that this is not my husband he officially a "Douglas".

pop culture invasion

Doug caved! Caden got it! It being the coveted Jonas Brothers CD. I always thought I'd have to listen to Caden's "music" when he was a teenager or maybe a tweenager, but as a preschooler, I'd have never guessed! Here's what led to the pop culture invasion of our home: Caden spent some time with his beloved cousin Tegan (who is already infatuated with and plans to marry the Jonas Brothers trio) listening to her Jonas Brothers CD and decided he just had to have one of his very own. And, after negotiating quite skillfully with his daddy, Caden is the proudest new owner of a Jonas Brothers CD. Though I thought this day was at least another 6-10 years away, I have to say it's pretty funny and cute to listen to Caden sing along with his new CD! :)

For those of you not up on pop culture (mom!), you can learn more about the Jonas Brothers, here. Enjoy!
